Family
Corrugatidae
“Wavy”
Once thought to be a rare mutation, the Corrugata has become accepted as a distinct family of the Occulpanidae, and its numbers and diversity are thought to be increasing. Many are found on mesh bags, instead of clear plastic. Some Corrugatids have even been found to parasitize rubber, instead of plastic. Corrugatids are distinguished primarily by three wavy indentations in a constricted oral groove.
