With its thin and rounded oral hooks, Infirmimaxilla kurisu strikes a unique morphological profile. This Archignathan also sports an impressively large and chromatic amiculum. It has been observed in several stores in the Yau Ma Tei Fruit Market in Hong Kong, attached to Japanese grapes from Nagano prefecture. Its species name honors its discoverer, occlupanologist Kurisu (FORC).
