Concave lateral sides, and miniscule palps. 21.5 mm x 24 mm.
Gently indented sides and nearly vestigial palps are curious and rare adaptations for this haplognathid. Species collected and described by C. Huning (DWORC) from an occlupanid hoard. T. initialis has been observed in The Netherlands on bags of baked bread by field researcher P. Cladder.
