The variants of genus Unidentia are diverse and diverting. One such variant is the tawny-colored U. obtusamaxilla ammon, named after the sharp-eyed occlupanologist who dared delve into the finer details of comparative occlupanid morphology. This occlupanid has since been found in a large variety of color morphs and hosts, on various continents. In 2024 one was even found attached to a bag of jigsaw puzzle pieces.
