Indented lateral sides, wide indentation on aboral edge. 43.3 mm x 35.1 mm. Thick 1.9mm integument.
Adding to a growing collection of surprisingly large occlupanids, Hadroklonis imbrex weighs in at a colossal 2.3 grams. Its wide tile-like surface is devoid of markings, but is easily recognized by the sinuously curved lateral sides and large indentation on the aboral edge, giving it a muscular appearance. Discovered on a sidewalk in Highland Park, CA, by field researcher W. Sawyer. No other data are as yet available for this distinctive archignathan. Observation Update: Occlupanologist L. Fox (FORC) has observed H. imbrex on a 10 lb. bag of beets.
