Shallow concave indention on aboral edge similar to genus Admordorsum. Thick body, and sharp chisel-like palps. Size 33.6 mm x 24.9 mm Markings indistinct.

Found by field researchers K. Sandstrom and J. Furr at a Supermarket in Indiana, on a bag of potatoes. Its species name is the German word for potato,”kartoffel”.
